BLACK CAT
BLACK CAT

Black animals are difficult subjects to paint for me.
We once had purebred Persian cats.
One was called a Copper-eyed Black.
This is very close to the eye color.

About Me
Louise
GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN, United States
An avid lover of nature, I studied many areas of flora and fauna, particularly trees and plants(flowers)....Dendrology and Botany. As a child I spent many hours hiking in the hills of our ranch and the forests of the area, along with exploring the meadows, rivers, creeks and lakes of the area. I have been drawing and painting since childhood and minored in art in college.I have taken classes and workshops through the years. Recently I have taken Online classes from Cathy Johnson. Since retirement I have dedicated myself to painting and drawing...mostly in my favorite mediums, watercolor and pen & ink. Some of my work has been featured in books and brochures and also used as Mixed Media examples in school classrooms. I have recently begun selling my paintings, after years of gifting my art to family and friends. Currently I am selling some of my work on Ebay, ...(periodically). I am very active on Flickr and some of my art can be seen there at: www.flickr.com/photos/27259847@N00 © Louise Christian, All rights reserved.
