It is quite possible that I may be addicted to finding ways to paint Poppies!!!
This painting is done with Ink & Watercolor, plus a touch of Acrylic.
It is a Birthday card for a neighbor...:)

- An avid lover of nature, I studied many areas of flora and fauna, particularly trees and plants(flowers)....Dendrology and Botany. As a child I spent many hours hiking in the hills of our ranch and the forests of the area, along with exploring the meadows, rivers, creeks and lakes of the area. I have been drawing and painting since childhood and minored in art in college.I have taken classes and workshops through the years. Recently I have taken Online classes from Cathy Johnson. Since retirement I have dedicated myself to painting and drawing...mostly in my favorite mediums, watercolor and pen & ink.
