Venturing into the world of Abstracts, this started out with Liquitex Acrylic Inks in Prussian Blue and Quinacridone Magenta, dropped onto very wet paper. As I watched it ''explode'' on the paper, I tipped the paper when needed to help the flow and even dropped water into it in places. Then, as if that wasn't enough fun...:)...I let it dry and began to ''find'' flowers with black ink and outline them...Then I added some yellows and greens and purples...Aureolin, olive, ? purple, and magenta. I let it dry and then spattered purple...dried again and the went over the flowers with white Ink...
It was a fun morning! That's what happens when you read Nita Leland's book ''The New Creative Artist'' the night before...:)
I love that book!!
It may not be a great work of art...but it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!...:) :) Lots of magical things happened and I love making magic!!!
