In rebellion on THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING....with it snowing,,,I painted FLOWERS all day!!!! Had to do this one in abstract since here in Michigan we haven't seen flowers for so long...almost forgot what a tulip looked like....:) :)

TEXTURED TREES...MIXED MEDIA
TEXTURED TREES
This is very experimental....on heavy card...I made my own texturing modeling paste...and I hope you can see the textures on this.
I used the Elegant Writer Pen and Acrylic Inks and Derwent Watercolor Pencils.
My formula for the modeling paste was(Give or take a little) ...approximately 4 Tablespoons Baking SODA, 1 Tablespoon Gesso, and 1/2 Tablespoon Mod Podge. You can always add a bit more baking soda if it is too thin. Let dry before applying colors.
