HILLSIDE TREES
Watercolor pencils and ink...9x12
Using mostly Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils...Micron pen.
I noticed this did not scan the color as well as with watercolor paints.
I edited it as accurately as possible to bring back the color the scanner didn't pick up.

PENCIL SKETCH WITH WATERCOLOR AND INK ADDED.
I liked my pencil sketch, so I left it all..no erasing on this one...:)
Beverly Sills was one of my favorite people in the world of music...I was happy to find this beautiful Iris and grow it...because it was named after her...such a delicate pink.

AUTUMN GREETING CARD
AUTUMN GREETING CARD
I painted this card for my daughter today. Tomorrow is her birthday....but we celebrated today because we wanted to see all the beautiful autumn colors on a nice sunny day and it was beautiful today. We drove through several small towns north of Grand Rapids, and saw florescent trees of yellows, oranges and even practically chartreuse...magnificent colors everywhere! We drove through an old covered bridge and in one historical area saw houses labeled with the year they were built...in the early 1800's.
Stopped and had a wonderful lunch in a restaurant on the river....a super day.
